MoPA hosted renowned National Geographic photographerSteve McCurry this week, on Wednesday, 9/13/06. Mr. McCurry gave two illuminating lectures complete with many slides of his work in East and Southeast Asia, and also participated in book and poster signings for lecture attendees.
The library was fortunate enough to receive two signed books from the museum bookstore: his newest publication, Looking East, and a 2001 edition of his Portraits. We also have a copy of Steve McCurry by Anthony Bannon, signed at last year’s McCurry exhibition. Copies of all three are available at the museum bookstore!
